Scrutinize is a podcast ministry of North Clay Baptist Church. To scrutinize means to examine closely and minutely (Merriam-Webster), and that's exactly what we do on this podcast. 

Scrutinize is a long-form, discussion podcast with the Pastors of North Clay Baptist Church. The goal is to discuss the issues that affect the life of North Clay Baptist Church in particular, as well as the "Big C" Church in general. 

Because we value the preaching ministry of North Clay, we often do not address certain issues from the pulpit. This is not because we are shy or worried about stepping on the proverbial toe. Rather, we want to guard and reserve the pulpit ministry of North Clay Baptist Church for the exposition of God's Word for God's people in the corporate gathering. Because of this, we wanted to provide a platform where we could address issues that may not come up in the pulpit on the Lord's Day, whether they be theological issues, political issues, cultural issues, etc. The goal of Scrutinize is to provide the congregation of North Clay Baptist Church with pastoral insight into the issues that affect the life of church.
